OUR VISION

The Vision of Pathway

The primary vision of Pathway Counseling Ministry has always been, and always will be, to provide affordable Christ-centered counseling by establishing church-based counseling offices. This allows the church to be seen as a place for complete healing, whether the issue is spiritual, emotional, behavioral, or relational.

The vision which God has laid before us at Pathway provides tremendous benefits, both to the church and community. Below are just a few of those benefits:

CHURCH

  • Removes pressure from staff
  • Restores “focus” to their area of ministry
  • Brings new families to church
  • Builds a relationship of trust
  • Cost effective for church
  • Helps Pastor during crisis situations
  • Benefits “many” churches in the area through one counseling office

COMMUNITY

  • Location “close” to home
  • Affordable so that no one is turned away
  • Can meet all counseling needs
  • Individual, marital, family, and group •counseling
  • Complete testing and evaluation
  • Professionally trained counselors with a love for the ministry

The desire is to provide Christ-centered counseling to local churches and communities throughout Central and North Florida. And if God so leads, to allow the ministry to serve individuals and families throughout the Southern United States.

This can be accomplished by:

  • Building a relationship with Pastors
  • Hiring professionally trained counselors who have a love for ministry, the Lord, and serving others
  • Building relationships with individuals, like you, who love the Lord and desire to be used by God to bless others in need.
  • Developing a strong Board of Directors who will guide the ministry according to the Will of God

How will this vision become a reality?

WE WILL:

  1. Remain in the center of God’s will for the ministry.
  2. Establish a philanthropic process that will enable Pathway to expand to meet the demand for services and provide care to those who could not otherwise afford treatment.
  3. Build relationships with Pastors who will understand the need for Christ-centered, church-based counseling.
  4. Build a partnership with individuals and families who desire to be used by God to bless those in need.

The vision is great . . . The need is greater!

Jesus states in Matthew 25:40,
“Whatever you do unto one of these, you do unto me.”
